Some great releases this decade, but unfortunately none by my favorite bands of yesteryear like Rush, Yes, Dream Theater, Smashing Pumpkins, etc really blew me away. It was tough picking which album was my favorite for a few bands such as PT, Dimmu, and Marillion but others were clear cut winners.

Here goes! (in no particular order except #1, which is my clear favorite of this decade)

1. Porcupine Tree - In Absentia

2. Death Cab For Cutie - Transatlanticism

3. Coheed & Cambria - In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth:3

4. The All-American Rejects - Move Along

5. Dimmu Borgir - Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia

6. The Mars Volta - Deloused In The Comatorium

7. The Darkness - Permission To Land

8. The Killers - Hot Fuss

9. Pain Of Salvation - Remedy Lane

10. Marillion - Anoraknophobia

Extremely honorable mentions to:

11. The Flower Kings - Unfold The Future

12. Spock's Beard - V

13. Godspeed You Black Emperor - Lift Yr. Skinny Fists...

14. The Dear Hunter - Act II...

15. dredg - Catch Without Arms

16. Motion City Soundtrack - Commit This To Memory

17. U2 - All That You Can't Leave Behind

18. Opeth - Blackwater Park

19. The White Stripes - Icky Thump

I think I have somewhere between 8-15 albums from this decade.

I wasn't even thinking of Rush. I have VT (unfortunately), Feedback, S&A, Rush in Rio and Different Stages.

Ok, so maybe I have between 10-20 discs from this decade. Probably more like 15.
