I think Ghost Reveries will be the next Opeth CD for me.

This has been made so.

Ghost Reveries was the first Opeth album I bought.... I loved it.

Same here. I had a tough time warming up to the growl but I knew that this band was something special. The music captivated me.

Enjoy!!

Methinks more people need to hear Still Life.

I think more people here need to hear Morningrise and Orchid

Orchid? Meh eh.gif

I personally think Opeth has only gotten better with time, with the single exception being Deliverance, which was a slight regression.

Or just the first four in general. MAYH, Morningrise, and SL blow away their past 5 albums but no one seems to listen to them as much as the newer ones

Orchid possibly has the most interesting song structures they've ever done but it just doesn't feel the band is quite gelling on it. God how I wish Lopez played drums on the first 2 albums

only 2 more tunes to go. what a voice. simply killer.

Yep!! Sounded really good, though I noted a small slip up on Master's Apprentices. The new guy even did a really good job.

Short, but very good, set!!

The Grand Conjuration

Face of Melinda

The Lotus Eater

Master's Apprentices

Hex Omega

Well That Sucks, I will be at work while the stream is on... Hopefully they archive it.

Any luck finding an archive? confused13.gif

It was pretty much the same set they played at Hellfest in France a few months ago, minus one song.

Not one of my favourite setlists but they were great still - one of those bands you never get tired of seeing live.

Opeth is incredible. I've only known of them for a couple of years, but they have since become my favorite band besides Rush and DT. I don't even like death metal. I'm so excited to see them live for the first time in October. Katatonia, another amazing band is opening. Voted Still Life in the poll. Serenity Painted Death is one of my favorite songs ever. If you like Opeth, try a group called Novembre. Pretty good stuff. I want to wear black everyday because of Opeth.
