physics23
So anyway, I was reading up on the history of the grapefruit here, when I came across this: QUOTE The process of making grapefruit beer begins with six peeled and sliced grapefruits combined with three gallons of hot water in a large crockpot. Cool and add 12 ounces of yeast. Seal the crock and allow it to ferment. Bottle it immediately after fermentation and drink. Which led me to wonder, How hard is to make beer in one's own home. Has anyone tried it? Those directions sound straightforward enough.

Instantly one of my favorites!! Wow! This is a smooth and refreshing Ale. Nice dark color, rich in texture but not too hoppy. I think I'm hooked! That stuff kicks ass...I love it. Check out Trader Joe's they usually have it for about $5.99/6 pack. I went by Trader Joe's on the way home from work today, and sure enough they had the Dead Guy Ale for $5.99/6pack. Thanks for the tip!!
