Yeah fresh Canadian beer can be really good, when I take trips down to the US i buy Labatt imported from Canada because its not too expensive and it reminds me of home smile.gif

But there's a good American beer I tried once called Amber Bock by Michelob..... I don't spend too much money on beer so for my buck its a great taste compared to, like, Budweiser.

Blue Moon is Belgian. Or, at least, it claims to be Belgian style though made in the US.

Long gone are the days when people could claim any one US beer was the "best," and thankfully so. Instead, nowadays there is simply an incredible variety of beers available out there, from the microbrewery explosion that started about 10 or so years ago.

It's beer heaven descended upon us poor americans at last. smile.gif

Rogue is one of my favorite breweries along with The Stone Brewing Co. When I was up in Portland, OR I was going to take a drive over and visit the Rogue brewery but I didn't end up having enough time. I usually buy a 6 pack of Dead Guy Ales at least once every couple weeks

My local distrib is finally getting the Stone line this month...I had the IPA and Arrogant Bastard in Cali...loved them.

Ever have any of the Victory brews? Their HopDevil IPA and Prima Pils are excellent, and their Storm King Stout is out of this world. They're brewed in Pennsylvania, so I don't know if you can get them where you are.
