Just restocked with what limited selection I have around here. The lack of selection in these parts is really starting to depress me. I've taken beeradvocates top 100 list to all the local stores and really strike out bad. It's soooooooooo sad fists crying.gif

Anyway, got some SN Pale Ale, Sam Smith's Imperial Stout and, for dessert (thanks again, 73!) Young's Double Chocolate Stout.

Ah, so that is where I remember the reference from -- picked up some Sam Smith today at the grocery for the first time -- the Oatmeal Stout and the India Ale.

Haven't tried the IA yet, but the OS is quite yummy.

yeah, I used to live 2 minutes from the Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico CA.. I've drank that stuff from the tap at the Brewery itself.. drool1.gif It was the first true Ale that I ever liked.. Discovered it while living there in the late 80's.. Still one of my favorites.

Try their Porter and/or Stout if you can ever find it..

VICTORY IMPERIAL STOUT

9.1%

GOOD WITH PEANUT M&M'S

THIS BEER IS AGGRESSIVE but not as good as or complex as that one stout made up in washington state (can't think of it but it's in another thread)

I need to try this stuff.

Haven't been able to find it locally, though. Alas.
