"Breaking Away" probably deserves cult status -

Absolutely! Great movie; one of the best.

Wow, I can't believe no one mentioned one of the greatest cult films of all time, by one of the greatest cult film companies of all time, "The Toxic Avenger" by Troma Films.

You guys are lame.

One I don't think anyone's mentioned yet is Ravenous. Deserves more attention than it's gotten.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0129332/

Oh yeah, Ravenous is indeed a great movie, with it's mixture of horror and black comedy...Guess I'll also add that one to my list as well, since I was lucky enough to tape it recently...

As for The Toxic Avenger, I guess it could be considered a cult film by my standards, but when I first saw it, I didn't particularly care for it, in fact, I thought it SUCKED! new_thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif Hmmm, I think my brother may have taped it long ago, perhaps it deserves another look at??

The People Under The Stairs.

In every neighborhood there is one house that adults whisper about and children cross the street to avoid.

Plot:

Two adults and a juvenile burglar break into a house occupied by a brother and sister and their stolen children and can't escape.

All time classic

I'm watching Fame on DVD again today. It's a modern classic. It always reminds me of when I was in piano & ballet. Those were the days.

* sigh *

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is another good one. I've only watched it once. I know some people who've seen it a hundred times.
