skyswing
QUOTE (rushgoober @ Jul 15 2007, 08:24 PM) I have tons of fave movies, but a couple that spring to mind that I try to watch whenever they come on tv: Goodfellas All The President's Men Logan's Run I don't think I've ever seen "Goodfellas" and I probably need to fix that one day. But I have done sit-down-and-watch on "Logan's Run" many times. I'm not entirely sure I understand my fascination with it. Maybe if I watch it some more I'll understand. We got "All the President's Men" on Netflix a few months back and it's excellent. I don't think I've seen it on TV to watch it in that venue recently. workingcinderellaman
True Lies Blues Brothers James Bond movies I loved 1941. It was done by Steven Spielberg and was very under rated. (maybe because it was a comedy) A really good one I saw recently that didn't do too well was 'Flyboys'
JohnnyBlaze
How could I have forgotten The Karate Kid? Wouldn't necessarily call it 'good' but it is highly entertaining. Something about Ralph Macchio getting beaten to a pulp repeatedly and Mr. Miyagi laying waste to those he fights is just nice wholesome fun. I lasted through a few commercials and then I thought, "I'll just watch the dvd this weekend." Mrs. Snowdog was right there with me. She loves Gangster flicks. Ya_Big_Tree
I watch a crap load of movies on a daily basis. But the ones that come to mind that I will always watch on tv (I battle the commercials) are: Any Star Wars movie (the first 3 aka the good ones) Goodfellas (especially recently with AMC showing it everyday back to back) Casino The Breakfast Club/Pretty in Pink/Sixteen Candles (The Molly Ringwald threesome, I also like looking at the young John Cusack, soo cute) The Karate Kid movies Mortal Kombat Grease Batman movies Die Hard (gotta love ole Bruce Willis blowing crap up) Forest Gump Taxi Driver Something's Gotta Give Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas *Warning the following list is my girly/mushy side leaking out, I apologize for some of these titles* Dirty Dancing (I know it's the worse movie ever but I can't turn it off when it's on Steel Magnolias Beaches I'm sure there are others, but that is all I can think of right now
