mfratt
Round 6 is done. It ran a bit over 2 days, sorry. 2112 is gone (for some weird reason...) We're down to eight albums remaining. The one with the most votes after 2 days is gone. Eliminated: Round 6: 2112 Round 5: Vapor Trails Round 4: Roll the Bones, Counterparts Round 3: Fly by Night, Test for Echo Round 2: Presto, Caress of Steel Round 1: Rush --- Grinding my teeth and loosing sleep, I vote HYF again. Earthshine
Grace Under Pressure must go. It is a miracle that Rush did not break up about the time that album was released or right before, or even after.

doubled_mystic
Moving Pictures. Call it blasphemy, call it treason, call it whatever you like. It is my least favorite of the albums left plain and simple.

mfratt
QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Mar 12 2007, 12:04 PM) Easily Grace Under Pressure. The songs are "okay," but there's no awesome song. Red Sector A? The Enemy Within? Distant Early Warning? All are effin UNBELIEVABLE songs IMO. And all the rest are good to very good.
tri.ad
Hold Your Fire. There are some very good songs on it (Force Ten, Time Stand Still, Mission), but the rest doesn't really do anything for me.

GeddyRulz
QUOTE (mfratt @ Mar 12 2007, 07:58 PM) QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Mar 12 2007, 12:04 PM) Easily Grace Under Pressure. The songs are "okay," but there's no awesome song. Red Sector A? Sucks. One of their worst songs. I can't understand why they play it every tour; I go to the restroom. QUOTE The Enemy Within? Distant Early Warning? Okay, but not dynamic enough to be "awesome."
KublaKhan
Why the hell did 2112 get voted out? Hold Your Fire. Much worse than 2112

ReRushed
QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Mar 13 2007, 07:59 AM) QUOTE (mfratt @ Mar 12 2007, 07:58 PM) QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Mar 12 2007, 12:04 PM) Easily Grace Under Pressure. Distant Early Warning? Okay, but not dynamic enough to be "awesome." I also voted for Grace Under Pressure, but "Red Sector A" is one of those Rush songs that greatly improves when played live, IMHO. Also, "Between the Wheels" is a kick ass song in any version. Anyway, my main problem with Grace Under Pressure is that the production does not compliment the emotions of the songs. Too bad Steve Lillywhite is not a man of his word. I keep asking myself, "What it could've been!!!" Simply put, I prefer the live versions of Grace Under Pressure songs to the studio versions. Henri
Permanent Waves, i have always concidered it a rather boring, dull and over-rated album. I don't mean it's bad but...
