QUOTE (Mustard Death @ Jun 5 2007, 03:20 PM) They've both changed a lot... they're progressive bands.......this is surprising to you? i cant get why all these prog fans want each band to return to some sort of sound. why would a band, a progressive one, nonetheless, want to re-live past glories? there are many qualities that make a band progressive, but one that stands out the most is never doing the same thing twice.

i really like most of it. Repentance is about 4 minutes too long, though. Im sure it will all get even better with successive listens.

ill be able to listen again this thursday! if you could take a request, could you play more of Popel Voh? hope i spelled that right.

i think it all depends on if you like the heavy stuff enough. of course, ive also heard its not all too removed from Awake in it heavy stuff except for the 2 officially released tracks so far.

When is his solo album supposed to be coming out? probably sometime this year. but other than that, i have no idea.

QUOTE (RUSHHEAD666 @ May 23 2007, 07:49 PM) QUOTE (prog.fusion @ May 23 2007, 07:38 AM) yes....Mike's triggered snare on Images and Words is kind of bad. But, its one of the few things that I have gotten used to. Even on the commentary to the Live in Tokyo DVD, Mike states numerous time about how much he hates the sound of that snare on the record. Thanks Fusion. Believe it or not I have Electomagnets, Train Of Thought, Cover To Cover, Morse's ONE cd and Octavarium in my stereo for tonight! Not bad eh? Mr. Hyde why..........thats some good listening right there!
