I used to eat, sleep, drink, and dream Theater.
I have seen this band many times. 11 to be exact. Hung out with them back in the day when they were good and shot the shit with them.
It was during the "Images And Words" and "Awake" Tours. I saw these guys in small clubs for years. Whatever.
I used to be a DREAMTHEATERHEAD. So what if I have a different opinion these days? You don't even know me. Glad you find me amusing. I like MUSE too, they don't need 5 musicians to sound like three either.
Dream Theater is a progressive cover band who plays with textbook smarts instead of soul and guts. Their parents put them through school to be the "Master Of Puppets." What's wrong with that DT Fans? After all they did cover that WHOLE ALBUM!

I loved this band. They are good guys but come on. Downhill City.
All they can do in the Bay Area is play The Warfield every year.
Well? Now on the Systematic Chaos Tour they are falling down a rung and playing at the Berkeley Community Theater. What a dump. They don't even sell beer or water there.
I saw King Crimson open for TOOL there many years ago. TOOL will never play at that dump again, yet your precious band is booked there.

It's one thing if I came into this Sacred Hall of a Thread on a Rush Forum and gave this band some shit for not knowing a thing about them.
I saw DT do "By-Tor And The Snowdog" at The Warfield and it sucked. "Turbulence" Tour to be exact.
They will alway be RUSH JR. looking to hold on to an unwelcomed embrace by an invisible hug.

Dream Theater went through keyboard players the same way Spinal Tap went through drummers.
