Godeater2112 Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 I'm still shuffling my way though Final Fantasy XII. My god if I wasn't so addicted to levelling I woulda finished the game three weeks ago I think. After that maybe finally try Ratchet and Clank to bide my time til Grand Theft Auto comes out. In the meantime ther eis always ALWAYS Rock Band. You tried that yet Kazz? Curious what you think of the drumming.

And i'm still waiting for rock band too come for the Wii. I'm still playing same games as last time.
Stormtron Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Rock Band for the Wii will kinda suck with no DLC. I haven't played anything in a while, I've just been too busy. I did preorder the special edition of GTAIV though. I'm gonna keep coke in the lockbox.....video games made me do it!
Mustard Death Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Just bought the Metal Gear Solid EC... MGS1, 2, and 3... for $30. Woo hoo! Also picked up Silent Hill 3 and preordered Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

Curious what you think of the drumming. I've dabbled with the drumming on Rock Band here and there. I'm actually better on the guitar in the game than I am on the drums. I can breeze through the songs on expert with no problem on drums, but once I start playing them on any other difficulty, it ends up screwing me up, because I want to play the song the way it's written. On top of that, the pads leave a very awkward feeling while playing because they're so close together.
Mustard Death Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 Grandia II. I'm really digging it so far... and after that, I'm taking on Xenosaga Episode II. So... many... f***ing... cutscenes.
kazzman Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Needless to say that GTA IV has owned my soul recently...
Jack Aubrey Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 Quake 4. I'm revisiting some older games until some new FPS' are released.
Roguedrummer Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 I am playing through Oblivion...................played it once, only did 40% of the game........wish to rectify that and play through the expansion as well.
secrettouch2me Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 I dont know if I'll ever "play though" this game but runescape online is pretty cool, while listening to RUSH or other bands
Mustard Death Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 ^ ^ ^ Bahaha... my little brother plays that. So much. Whatever you do, don't start paying them. And... I just cleared the first dungeon in Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. My faith in the DS is renewed.
Roguedrummer Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 Still getting through the expansions of Oblivion

Revisiting: The Legend of Zelda, A Link to The Past Good game, i just get stuck sometimes.

Yeah, the whole "jot it down on your map!" thing is starting to get a little gimmicky. But I'm still digging the controls and impressive graphics job. And the side quests are fun stuff. Obviously not up to the epic standard set by most Zelda titles, but a fun game and good enough to make me enjoy my DS again. Does anybody know how the Resident Evil DS remake was? I heard they left in the f***ing great voice acting from the original.
Stormtron Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 I don't think this is really a spoiler since you have to do it pretty much the whole game, but the annoying part of Phantom Hourglass for me was having to do the Temple of the Ocean King repeatedly. And I love RE on the DS. It's almost the exact same as the PS1 game, and yes, they left in the original voice acting. Barry is still as glorious as ever.
Mustard Death Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 Sounds good. I guess this means I need to become "almost a Jill sandwich!" once again Oh, and I'm playing Okami on the Wii. One of the best Zelda games I've ever played.
