I still need to watch FWWM, Inland Empire and Wild at Heart to be a completist.  Shocked that MGM hasn't had Wild on streaming for quite some time.

Brutal. Very sad news.

That first season of Twin Peaks was phenomenal.

Mulholland Drive too.

My personal favorite is the underrated Lost Highway.

Also, love his cameo as John Ford in The Fablemans.

I just read this on the BBC site. Very sad.

A one of a kind director. RIP David.

Twin Peaks was a trippy masterpiece. Audrey kept me watching every week. The other gals were top notch eye candy as well.

But I digress. RIP

Lara wasn't too bad back then.  She peaked with the underrated noir, Red Rock West.

Say hi to Professor for us.

I've got his G rated Disney film The Straight Story queued up for my watching tribute.  And yesterday I listened to most of his Crazy Clown Time cd - a little bit of extreme divorce anger, some TM Mantras and dental hygiene tips.  His body of work will influence art for many more decades.

I was not a huge fan of all of his stuff, but found it all interesting.  I saw a wonderful documentary on him, sorry if it was already mentioned, and what I admired was his truly artistic nature, spirit and mentality, in many forms of art.  It was inspiring to be honest.

Didn't believe it at first. RIP

He'd been in declining health for the past year from what I've read so I wasn't TOO surprised.

Worth noting that Wild at Heart brought Wicked Game back as a re released single for Chris Isaak and it worked.  It went to number 6 in the US and number one on MTV Top 20 Video Countdown.

The original video before one of the sexiest videos ever.
