Mirror to the Sky - Wikipedia

I have just had my first listen to this.

First impression is that it is not bad. The epic title track is pretty impressive.

Last Night

Jackson Browne

The Naked Ride Home (9/10)

Time The Conqueror (8/10)

Standing in the Breach (8/10)

I used to dismiss later Jackson as too political and it IS in some spots but their are gems sprinkled throughout all three albums you could make one Fantastic album from.  My fav song is Walls and Doors from Standing in the Breach.  that song is as good as anything he wrote in the 70's.

How do you compare it to these other four YES albums, and then rank all five in order - 90125, Drama, Going for the One, Union?

I'm not usually a big fan of cover versions but this is really enjoyable!

My "like" was for the Ghost!

A line of hospital beds stretch into the distance on an overcast beach. A man sits on one bed holding a mirror. The sky is slightly purple.

Great album (post Roger) and a great tour.

I bought this album based off the cover only.   I was glad I did.

I was at this show and this is the first bootleg worth hearing.

Fireworks at a concert were a "thing" back then and they sucked.

Rankings all always subjective but I would rank the four you mentioned in order of preference - Going For The One, Drama, 90125, Union.

As for the new one - it's difficult to rank the later Yes stuff against earlier output but, it is no worse than Union.

Jackson Browne-The Pretender (10/10)

Been loving this style again.  Fogelberg is great but i put Jackson's 70's run up there too.  Acctually right up to 1980's Hold On.  Such gorgeous stuff and The Pretender is my fav.
