invisible airwave
He would be considered a RINO by cult 45 standards right now who are ironically the real RINOs. Intellect is frowned upon for Jerry Springer and macho insecurity crap lately. They won't stand for broken clock moments. Just ask Liz Cheney, Romney and Kinzinger. RIP
ozzy85
I've read a lot of his stuff. It started with Car & Driver magazine. I never really cared for Rolling Stone magazine. Read about half a dozen of his books. Always appreciated his sense of humor. His article on pick up trucks was great. RIP, PJ.
BastillePark
The first book of his I read was "Modern Manners" and it was pretty funny. I still recall him telling us why we should never wash our hands after using the lavatory. R.I.P.

Blue J
I met him once, just at a book signing, in the early ‘90s. He hasn’t been a staple of my reading ever since, but I appreciated a lot of what he did. RIP
Nova Carmina
Yeah, great writer; funny stuff. A voice that will be missed.
BigMontanaSKY
A funny writer but I always wondered why someone as smart as he seemed to be, was OK with the Republican party stance on most issues for women. Just my 2 cents. Rest In Peace man.......
Rhyta
Can't say I ever read any of his books. He became a recurring guest on NPR's Wait Wait show in the late 90's and he was so funny. Sorry to hear of his passing.
