Maverick Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 Meatballs was one of my absolute favorite movies in middle school and high school. I was able to quote it as well as I could ever quote Caddyshack (another favorite from that period.) And Meatballs was probably the single biggest factor in my working at various summer camps throughout high school and college, and probably in becoming a teacher after that. RIP Ivan, and thank you for inspiring me to work with young kids, even though I was still pretty young, myself. 2

Derek19 Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 (edited) I've been sorry, to hear, see, and read this. He was a great director, producer, and screenwriter, especially to some classic, and memorable movies. He will be missed, and remembered. My condolences, and sympathies to his family, and friends. R.I.P., Ivan. Edited February 18, 2022 by Derek19
