The final kneeldown brought Stafford's rushing total down from 7 to 6 yards, resulting in a bad beat for anyone who took the over on the 6.5 yard prop bet. Ouch!

I love that stuff.

Well another season is in the books. Congrats to Stafford. I can officially start dreaming of the Cowboys next Super Bowl once again.

To quickly get to a dreamy REM stage, just count back from 14.

It's just stupid for the halftime show to take this long. This is the championship of the sport.

Wow LABT had a negative comment on the hip hop halftime show. Shocking!!

Wow, mithrandir took the comment and redirected it to fit a predetermined narrative that reflects his own shallow biases. Shocking!!

If I would have made the comment about Springsteen's halftime show I'm sure he would have said it was all about the saxophonist...

This Super Bowl was the first one I've watched since the Packers won SB45, so I know nothing about the recent halftime shows.

Super Bowl 44's halftime show was The Who. They (Daltry and Townshend) were HORRIBLE. I knew then that the band was done, fini, dead. It made me sad.

Roger had throat surgery and sounded much better after that, and that performance was garbage.

I have seen them after that and they were not bad - they were old men playing and singing the songs, but it was good.

I find the halftime shows are generally garbage.

I thought Shakira was good, J Lo not. I thought Katie Perry made it fun. Prince killed it for sure. But most half times are too bloated for my tastes.

That explains whey they went full pop since then because they believe pop will be the quick fix when they're not any better. Looking at you, Fergie! RHCP had a similar problem when the guitar parts weren't played live. Frusciante would never stoop that low.

To think BEPs were once a decent alt hip hop group at one point. I remember Joints and Jam. That's to them what Harder to Breathe is to Maroon 5. Selling out is a helluva drug.

That's nothing compared to Nick Adams and Charlie "incel James Franco" Kirk on Twitter. Some guy named Phil Wiseman was worse. He trended by saying THE N word with an -er at the end and the quiet part loud. Even some of the Pepe frog avatar accounts told him to sod off.

Still, better than Maroon 5 and Coldplay. Get some real rock like Foo Fighters and Metallica and not BTS and Selena Gomez ass kissers like Chris Martin.

They were awful, but at least their performances didn't take as long so they could get to the point of the event without a ridiculous delay.

Those are the only two I remember that I enjoyed. Even then, they took waaaaay too long. It's a football game, the most important of the season, not a concert.

the Weeknd has to be the most overrated artist around today and I thought his show sucked and I find his music to be derivative little piles of sh-t. lol

How much did it suck having to wait half an hour for the second half in 2018?

Interesting list. Lets go back to a good ole marching band. Maybe doing a tribute to Rush! Honestly, as a football fan, I haven't enjoyed the Super Bowl in years. Way too much glitz and fluff surrounding the actual game. The preliminary rounds are way better - real football. And please don't make me go to a Super Bowl party any more. I see 10% of the game and 95% of the people are more interested in the half time show.....and think it was freaking awesome - including Maroon 5 and BEP and all the other crap. Edited by Syrinx
