Don’t shoot me. The Reflex by Duran Duran, usually includes a volume increase and sing a long.

Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald and Sundown by Gordon Lightfoot.

So, so many.

I'll limit myself to one at a time and try to make them the less obvious ones (like say The Beatles).........

Never Been Any Reason by Head East

Light My Fire - The Doors

Excellent choice, totally agree. I crank this and sing a long!

Yeah, wrong thread though.

Man, so many songs. Classic rock radio is just a huge comfort to me. But let me think of a few (Queen and Rush aside since I wouldn't change the channel on anything from these two) that make me particularly happy when I hear them on the radio....

Steely Dan - Reeling In The Years (one of the earliest melodies I remember hearing in my life)

AC/DC - It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock 'N' Roll)

Jefferson Starship - Jane

Steve Miller Band - Swingtown

ZZ Top - Cheap Sunglasses

Styx - Blue Collar Man

Doobie Brothers - Black Water

Bad Company - Rock N Roll Fantasy

Foreigner - Blue Morning, Blue Day

Bob Seger - Old Time Rock N Roll

Free - All Right Now

Fleetwood Mac - The Chain

Toto - Hold The Line

Journey - Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'

Thin Lizzy - The Boys Are Back In Town

Def Leppard - Foolin'

The Cars - Just What I Needed

Certainly there are more, but these ones I know for sure just bring a smile to my face when I hear them on the radio.

Some songs that people have yet to mention that immediately came to my mind

25 or 6 to 4- Chicago

Great call. I never turn off Old Days or Saturday in the Park or Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is? by them either.

Wild Boys is the one that I never change. Love the intense underrated drumming of that other drummer named Roger Taylor.

On the subject of 80s new wave, I keep it on when the big 3 1985 songs from Tears For Fears show up unless it's the chopped up version of Shout.
