- Overall decent health

- I didn't lose it when I could've at some points

- An excellent spring vacation to my hometown

- A short yet pleasant overnight trip last October to a hot springs resort by the sea

- Tossing a bunch of material goods that only took up space in the house

I know a certain someone that will be greatly angered by this thread.

Why?

Stop it.

Was that supposed to be aimed at you?

No. I thought he was imitating someone here, so I gave the response the member would have. It was supposed to be funny.

Oh maybe because you didn't use enough exclamation points or large text? ;)

I thought he would get the joke without it, but I better go back and add one just in case. :)

- Saw more concerts/gigs/shows this year more than any other year prior which was an accomplishment and a milestone.

- The above is also a testament to the amount of "new" music (either literally new or newly discovered music regardless of age) I discovered this year

- Graduated college (can also go under "Screw You 2016"...long story, I don't wanna say more than I've already have...)

- Visited a few places I haven't been to before

- Finally learning to letting go of things and doing it the right way

- I'm trying to put a better effort at playing bass...and doing it self-taught (which might not be a good idea...)

There's probably a few more I can be thankful for in 2016 despite it being the most extreme high and low year (for me at least) but I'll leave it as is.

Nope, I wasn't imitating anyone and I wouldn't have understood the joke without exclamation points and caps.

It's the Italian form of "Horace/Horatio" and is likely connected to "hour" or some sort of "time".

It was a reasonably good year, all things considered. I started a new job, which I now hate, but which gave me financial security and boosted my career. Stella grew bigger and smarter, and everyday is a bit easier to look after. Veronica and I had our share of disagreements but pulled through them, and we're now more united and connected than ever. And we made the decision to move overseas, which will happen next year. I saw Anthrax, Maiden, Glenn Hughes, Black Sabbath, Rival Sons, Accept, The Winery Dogs and a few smaller bands live. Ran three half marathons and a bunch of 10km runs. And we sold our house, which will make things easier for the move!

He is Italian. I don't really care though. I still love him, and that is all that matters.
