Your_Lion
Love Over Gold, for the sublime Telegraph Road. If you were including live albums, too, my choice would obviously have been Alchemy I´m expecting a lot of criticism to Brothers in Arms here from the Dire Straits connoisseurs, but I love it!Brothers in Arms will always have a special place with me, because it was one of the first few albums I owned on cassette as a child.

goose
Making Movies and Love Over Gold are my favorites, but I'll give the nod to Love Over Gold for its production value. Just perfectly recorded. Telegraph Road and It Never Rains are my favorite tracks from the album. Both start quietly and build seamlessly. Side A of Making Movies is fantastic, but the B side doesn't hold up to Love Over Gold. I'll give a shout out to Brothers in Arms. It's excellent, but the first three tracks were overplayed to a point where I don't need to hear them again. The balance of the album is still fantastic to my ears.

Others think Nightwish started with Once. It gets annoying. I might try this band again.

Lorraine
Money For Nothing is one of my favorite songs. The only other song I remember at the moment that they did was Sultans of Swing. Can't think of any others.
