Just found out that some dear friends of mine had a "Man with a gun!" encounter at the Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, Indiana this weekend. People were running out of the casino, while others hit the floor. My friend said that her legs felt like JELL-O as she and her husband were running out of the building. It turned out to be an armed robbery attempt. Some idiot tried to rob the place, briefly took a hostage, then ran out of the building....and was caught. "You think you know how you would react to that kind of situation until it happens," she said.

Howard Stern is known for not being a Rush fan, but yesterday he was talking about how he decided to give Geddy's book a try and much to his surprise, fell in love with Geddy and thinks the book is a home run. I recorded it for you all :)

How are you holding up with all the snow dumps in the last 10 days? It's been weird here. First unseasonably warm about 10 days ago 60's. Then lots of rain in the valley, snow piling up in the mountains (avalanches galore). To the first of this week, crazy winds. Some areas by the GSL had 65 mph, we got 35 mph and seeing yard furniture blowing down the street. Now we are back to warm again, puddles. It's like the old saying, wait 10 minutes and the weather will change....boy howdy.
