I know a chick who was big into "Science Rulz" and pop science facebook pages like "I fRICKing Love Science!!!" -- now she's a conspiracy theory junkie flat earther who would diagnose you with mercury poisoning if you shared with her pretty much any symptom imaginable.

I can't give her too much shit for it though because I know of two other people who have gotten so bad with their moralistic behavior that I can't f***ing stand them, so after a long grace period I just weeded 'em out of my life. Conspiracy theory peeps, from my personal experience, are much more fun, interesting, and accepting than those who are holier than thou.

It's no secret that our political climate is shit right now, so that probably has something to do with all of this. Fun.

Well, like many other NBA players, Shaq used to refer to himself in the third person. So there’s that. He never seems to DO anything stupid or get into any real trouble BUT he has said some silly things in the past. I’m going to go ahead and say he’s joking...I hope.

It's because he played basketball and the world doesn't behave like a basketball does and he can't spin it on his finger so it's flat.

He’s traveled the world. So I wonder how he’d explain flying from L.A. to Europe then from there to Asia over the Pacific straight back to L.A.

I just remembered - I’m a mere 2 degrees from Shaq come to think of it as an oooooold co-worker friend of mine helped produce one of his 90s rap albums.

Mythbusters disproved all the moon landing conspiracies. As for the flat-earthers, they're f***ing stupid or are just trying to see what kind of bullshit from their mouths that people will believe.

The flat-earthers are probably the same ones that think that big tax breaks for corporations will benefit them. Suckers.

All one has to do to prove that the Earth is flat is to watch a lunar eclipse.  When the Earth's shadow moves across the Moon's surface, you can see the curvature of the shadow.  This proves that the Earth is a round, flat disc.

And as the light rays from the Sun are parallel when they strike the Earth, this also proves that the Sun is a huge, flat disc.

Well, of coarse the world is flat or we wouldn't be able to walk on it as well as we do. Ever try walking around on a ball. Not that easy to do. But in the larger perspective as it sits in space, its round.

Lucas, in NJ, calls JB, in Osaka

Lucas: JB, how was that AKB show last night ??

JB: Luc, I can't begin to tell you how good .. It's 2pm and I just woke up, and THE SUN IS SUNING BRIGHT HERE

Lucas: wow, that must have been a great show .. Yep, well, it's 2am here in Jersey, and IT IS PITCH DARK

It's very simple ... At 2pm in Osaka, the sun is shining ... and at that same moment, it is 2am in NJ ...

It's a sphere
