I had heard only that it was the remnants of a typhoon so I assumed it was the same one. If it's the same one then it did have a ways to travel! Our rain is apparently the tail end of your typhoon. How does that compare to that Pineapple Express you get in your region ? The Pineapple Express thing doesn't happen here very often. To the best of my knowledge, most of our weather comes from across the Pacific or from the north, so we typically get colder rain (or snow in the higher elevations).
