Priest aren't playing Hot Rockin'? How come???

They played that one on the Angel of Retribution tour.

Well, they should play it again. Only this time have the original '81 video playing on the large screen behind the band. :dweez:

One of my best friends on the Earth killed himself last night.

Yep! Myles is right. I put my personal life on here.

Foolish me.

Who cares.

My buddy Pat and I saw 100s of concerts together over the decades.

Pat was the guy I went up to Marysville with to see Judas Priest headline over lame ass SLAYER.

Priest did THE RIPPER that night and my buddy and I hugged each other in bliss.

So whatever.

I put my personal shit on here?

Cool.

My best friend took his fuckking life last night. His Japanese Blu Spec Pressing is still in the mail. He never heard FIREPOWER. His name was Pat because he was born on St. Patrick's Day.

He killed himself two days before his birthday.

Yet all he did was tell me on Tuesday night how excited was about his birthday. Corned beef and beer.

Whatever Myles.

Please put me on ignore.

73.

Just fuckking ban me.

Whatever.

I will miss my friends on here but life ends. It begins again.

My best friend's death has motivated me to listen to Firepower all night

I'ver heard FIREPOWER ten times tonight.

It's not an 8.0

It's a fuckking 9.5

I was wrong again.

Myles.

Please.

I beg you.

Put me on IGNORE.

Or please pass a petition around this fuckking forum to ban me.

I really don't give a f**k anymore.

Death is probably a good way to say goodbye.

My best friend named Pat killed himself.

I am crushed.

He was my METAL BROTHER.

Saw it all with him Duck.

Pat has passed.

I am sorry I attract haters on here.

I will never change.

If banned I will understand it.

I am taking off anyway Pat.

I am leaving.

I love you Duck.

Life isn't fair.

I will be fine.

I was wrong.

FIREPOWER RULES!

I am so sad my best friend killed himself. I tired my best to talk him out of it.

He will never hear FIREPOWER.

OK, so "Firepower" was waiting for me on the front steps this morning.

One listen in so far and all I can say is...

...DAAAAMMMNN!!!!!!!!

Easily album of the year by a West Bromwich mile!

This one is going to be tough to beat.

It was a long wait, but well worth it!

Wow!!!

They strategically released it in 2018 so that it was a year with no official release from Maiden. Their only chance of winning an "album of the year" award. Smart move!

Really?

What's up with you taking shots lately at Priest in order to try and build Maiden up?

Maiden would have to really top their most recent efforts to beat this album. :) Edited by The Cat 3

All in good fun to try and mess with treeduck, man. I love the album, can't stop listening to it, and it gets better at every listen. I actually showed some Priest to my daughter the other day, and she loved the "bald man with a tattoo on his head". We had a hard time calming her down to sleep.

It would be nice if Maiden could write a more straightforward kick ass album like this one though. I do like modern Maiden a lot but it's better in small doses. It's nice to be able to listen to an album in one sitting and not have to take a break halfway through because the album is too bloated. Edited by J2112YYZ

JUDAS PRIEST's "Firepower" has landed at position No. 5 on the U.K. albums chart. It marks the band's highest ranking, and first time in the Top 10, since "British Steel" reached No. 4 in 1980. Elsewhere, "Firepower" has become PRIEST's first-ever No. 1 in Sweden, while in the U.S., the album is expected to enter the Billboard 200 at No. 2, bested only by David Byrne's "American Utopia".

treeduck is going to jump onstage with Priest at Bloodstock this year.

The press will rename the festival Duckstock in his honour!

With all the copies he bought, Priest should allow him to see any shows performed in the UK for free. Permanent guest list spot for the duck.
