puffyshirt
The bass drums and mirror ball look egg shaped and Geddy has got some wide hips! Haha yeah, it's clearly just the same image squished, but I'm certain they'll just chop off some of the top and bottom.
EagleMoon
It looks like whoever designed that cover also designed the last batch of t shirts. Loud and gaudy and not a very good graphic designer.
bluefox4000
I love how this artwork seems to tell a story. Al and Ged: "PARTY!!!!!!!!!!" Neil: "F**k this shit." Mick

Why would the tip the hat to their most obviously terrible song ever? Haha
EagleMoon
I think people are going to look at that cover and say "is Rush a nostalgia band? I thought they broke up back in the 80's. That singer sure sounded like a girl." ;)
Segue Myles
The artwork looks more like a bootleg cover than the real deal. I sorta love it for that!

LittleRushmonkey
I don't really like it. It looks too amateurish for Rush. I'm fact, the font is probably what I like best about it...

Geddy's Soul Patch
The only thing I know is that it's the best face Geddy has ever made on an album cover before
bluefox4000
it's totally unappealing but then again so far with the lack of features it fits, lol R30 Was done up more then this. Mick

HalfwayToGone
The disco ball is probably actually in the original photo. It was part of the encore, and the stage lights are aimed directly at it. Also Neil's arms are not missing. He was playing a part with both arms concealed by toms, and you can see his hand in the middle of the two front toms.

TexMike
I've decided I hate the cover because every time I look at it, "Stayin' Alive" starts playing in my head.
Geddy's Soul Patch
The R40 Live cover is an old painting of Hugh's from 1977. Crazy right??
Lorraine
I've decided I hate the cover because every time I look at it, "Stayin' Alive" starts playing in my head. Keep that song in your head! You may need it one day. I was just reading about how to give adult CPR. In Step 4, it says to: straighten your arms and press down as hard as possible. Repeating at an interval of at least 100 times per minute, or "in time with the tune of the disco classic 'Stayin Alive.'" :) The song came in handy for something.
