First off, a huge congrats on yet another giant step taken trink39.gif trink39.gif trink39.gif

Secondly, a very interesting article on the relationship between autism and Vitamin A HERE

One excerpt from the case study:

Our early experience with treatment with natural cis forms of Vitamin A in Cod Liver Oil (CLO) in these autistic children, followed by stimulation of blocked acetylcholine receptors for neurotransmitters affected with a blockage of G-alpha pathways in the cell, is promising. There are dramatic, immediate improvements in language, vision, attention and social interaction in some of these children, as. evidenced by the following case reports. [cut] For these and other reasons I started the boy on cod liver oil (5,000 IU of Vitamin A, given in 2500 IU/b.i.d.) and a gluten free diet. After one week, he began to sit farther from the television and to notice paintings on the walls at home.

Amen Sista... I take six gel tabs of that cod liver oil every day... Vitamin A and D.. Especially in the winter time when I'm not getting enough sunshine. Very good stuff. Also, make sure he's getting enough Omega 3 fats (healthy oils).. Glad to hear some good news!!!

I just found out that we've been approved to attend the Spring DAN! (Defeat Autism Now) meeting in D.C. in April - plane tickets, hotel and conference registration. This is going to be such valuable time with experts in the field of biomedical autism treatment.

I'm so excited! I've never been to Washington. smile.gif

Hi all. We're back from the DAN! (Defeat Autism Now) conference in D.C., and my mind is packed with information. I came away feeling a bit sad that we didn't find out about these biomedical interventions several years ago, as the recovery rate is much higher in kids aged 2-5. However, there are still wonderful, near miraculous stories of improvement in kids up to the teen years, and even some adults who have made great strides after being put on the protocol.

I could go on for pages about the deceptions of the CDC and the NIH, but, I won't. I have seen "classified" documents from within these agencies marked "DO NOT COPY OR RELEASE" that incriminate certain individuals and prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that my son and millions of other children were poisoned, all for the sake of money. It's sickening, and I spent some time being angry.

But I met a remarkable group of people who are working to make sure this stops, that the responsible people are held liable, and that future generations will have a cleaner, safer world to grow up in. We're going to be working on getting legislation introduced to outlaw the use of mercury in ANY vaccine (it's still in flu vaccine, my friends). It was amazing to be a part of this group. There was a very civil demonstration at the Capitol on the sixth. The chant went like this: "Shots should be mercury free. No more lies from the CDC!"

The ONLY thing that makes sense is to take the anger and channel it. And that's what I plan on doing. It won't help Stephen, but we have GOT to wake up and realize that it's up to us to deal with this. As of now, the current research from the CDC is that 1 in 166 children are diagnosed with autism. If you factor in other learning disabilities, the number is shocking. One in SIX American children is diagnosed with some type of learning disability. Our world is a toxic place, people, and it's already wreaking havoc on our children. Please educate yourself about what you're eating and drinking and the cookware you're cooking your food in.

So, back to the conference smile.gif, I didn't take many pictures because I was too busy listening, but I did take a couple of some new friends I met. This is me and Liz and Liz. laugh.gif The Liz on the left has a precious son named Cian, and she and her husband Mike came all the way from Cork, Ireland (madra bekloppt.gif) to attend this meeting. It was an honor to get to know them a little. We even talked about U2. Imagine that. wink.gif

And this is David and Liz's husband Mike.

So, as I'm continuing to process what I've learned, and make plans to take Stephen to his new DAN! doctor in Louisiana next week, I realize that even though I'm a bit overwhelmed, and even a bit sad that we didn't start this treatment years ago, I came away with something very special, something that I needed more than anything. As fate would have it, I found a way to represent this special thing, to remind myself on the rough days that things are going to be better. In a small shop in Dupont Circle, I found this:

So I've worn it every day since I bought it. For him:

Thanks for reading.

(P.S. Touristy, schmaltzy D.C. pictures will be coming soon to a thread near you.)

Thank you yet again for sharing this with us I been trying to let some friends of mine know everything you have been written so far to make sure their newborn isn't put in harms way without their knowing.

They were as shocked as I was to find that Mercury was still being used on a regular basis in vaccination.
