softfilter
Speaking of ugly that was the Browns yesterday(at least offensively) ..So much for "meaningful" games, next one should be scheduled for November 2019 although that's probably little over confident... :sarcastic:Do you think the Browns will draft a QB in the first round with one of their picks next year? If so who do you do think it'll be?I would think that's a very strong possibility after Cambell was exposed last Sunday as someone that definitely looked more like a second string then a "permanent" starter. (Not that he was considered besides) Bridgewater & Manziel probably won't be on the table when it's Cleveland's time. I'd prefer Johnny Manziel but a dark horse to keep and eye on and possible better fit might be Derrek Carr from Fresno State. Yeah he's playing in the desolate tumble weed country of the Mountain West but damn his stats are unbelieveable!! Let Hoyer & Cambell fight it out for starter position in the meantime and develop Carr. Need a running back and not being biased BUT really like Buckeyes Carlos Hyde he has been shredding defenses as of late, strong big and fast!!!There's a few possibilities for QB, Bridgewater, Manziel, Boyd, Mariota, Hundley, Mettenberger, Carr, Hogan, Morris, Murray, Fales, or even A.J McCarron or Logan Thomas from Virginia Tech. There's a bumper crop for sure and everyone has a opinion on who would be best but it's a crap shoot in the end. And when it's comes to draft gambles the odds have been long in the history of the Browns placing the winning bet. Maybe Michael Lombardi can be the difference this time? He better.... People here are still sore Lombardi's first time around in Cleveland when he( and head coach Belichick )made the decision to bench Kosar ,Bernie was still winning games and putting us in playoff position. Suspicious to this day his evaluation of QB talent ... Edited November 19, 2013 by softfilter
softfilter
Wow, the Browns are completely unwatchable today .. Cambell out never recovered from his rib injury and Weeden is back in... Time to think about the draft wrap it up season over.

But why not decide a winner? They do decide winners in the playoffs, but not in the regular season. 75 minutes is enough of a toll on players' bodies, and there have only been 6 ties in the last 24 years. If they toss a coin or decide it by stats or drawing lots, or a sudden death field goal competition, that's not a football game decider.

laughedatbytime
What a f***ing dumbass. MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A former Minnesota Vikings defensive player is accused of strangling his girlfriend in an early-morning argument that was the result of ignored text messages, according to charges filed Wednesday by the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office. Anthony Ray Jefferson Jr., 25, was charged with on felony count of domestic assault by strangulation in connection with the incident, which happened Monday morning at his Eden Prairie home. According to the charges, police were called to the 11000 block of Tiffany Lane at about 5:30 a.m. on reports that a woman was visibly upset and crying, and had marks on both sides of her neck. She told police she had been assaulted by her boyfriend, Jefferson, who she has been with for three years and was living with. The victim told police she had been out with him in downtown Minneapolis before they returned to their Eden Prairie home. They got into an argument, she went to sleep and he left to go to a neighbor’s home. According to the complaint, she woke up to him confronting her about ignoring text messages he had sent her. He grabbed her neck to the point she couldn’t breathe. The complaint states after the initial assault, he continued to yell at her, grabbed her by the neck again and moved her from the bed to the floor, grabbing her neck again. She said she didn’t fight back because she couldn’t breathe and he is a lot bigger than her. Jefferson was released by the Vikings on Monday, the same day of his arrest. He is still in the Hennepin County Jail. http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2013/11/27/charges-former-viking-jefferson-strangled-girlfriend/

I give it about a 40% chance of being right on the number. It will be the most boring game played this year as both teams have decent defenses and offenses that rival your local high school team. I will be asleep half way through the first quarter. Edited November 28, 2013 by thesweetscience

treeduck
Lions have pretty much dominated but are down 10-3.The Lions can't beat the Packers no matter who the quarterback is, it could be Mark Sanchez in there demonstrating his variations on the butt fumble and they'd still lose. Principled Man
Lions have pretty much dominated but are down 10-3. The Lions can't beat the Packers no matter who the quarterback is, it could be Mark Sanchez in there demonstrating his variations on the butt fumble and they'd still lose. The Packers don't have a chance today, as their head coach is content with playing the run-run-sack-punt scheme.
