lerxt1990
So, take out CA - and fill in the rest for a true 80s tour. Go ahead, leave out Permanent Waves and MP, what would you choose form the others? What items from the vault?

zappafrank
Show Don't Tell. That's the song that got me into Rush, and the 1st show I conceivably could have made wasn't till Counterparts, and that didn't work out. So of course that was the last time they played, even though I've been able to catch them on every tour since then.
Rick N. Backer
QUOTE (goose @ Sep 14 2012, 12:18 AM)The Weapon Mystic Rhythms The Weapon is one of my favorite songs by Rush. I remember seeing them on the Signals tour and loving the Count Floyd video introduction. Mystic Rhythms is probably my favorite song from Power Windows. USB Connector
It is indeed the clockwork 80s tour. Let's break down all of the songs they're playing. Songs from the 80s (aka albums you mentioned): 13 Songs from Clockwork Angels: 10 Other songs: 6 The vast majority of the songs played are from the 80s and CA. No, not all albums from the 80s are equally represented, but they are all represented. I think it's a very good description of the tour. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet; this tour's setlist by any name would still be as awesome. EDIT: just saw your second post with the actual discussion topic....so I'll roll with it. The CA suite would be replaced by Presto. Edited September 14, 2012 by USB Connector
