Just got The King of Limbs by Radiohead in the mail today on vinyl. Sounds wonderful on the new turntable!

A truly disappointing album from them. Nice going with the vinyl though.

I don't think it was disappointing at all. Even a year later, it still sounds pretty good. I wasn't initially impressed with it, but I wasn't raging that they didn't do another OK Computer either.

Grabbed a copy of Dream Theater's Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence today. Amazing record, it's now my favorite DT album next to Octavarium.

8VM is one of their most honest Prog releases where I feel they didn't try to sell anything but Prog. Stand out release and very much under-rated.

Octavarium's great. The only track I don't like is Never Enough.

"Couldn't Stand The Weather" by Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble

Did you get the 25th Anniversary edition with all the extra tracks and the second disc with the 1984 concert on it? That is an amazing buy.

Yep, I got it for my Dad for his birthday. Though he seemed much more interested in the 18 disc Grateful Dead Spring 1990 Box Set.

Awesome. There are some great bonus on the first disc, including his best versions of Little Wing and Empty Arms. Wow, I think I'm going to have to give it a listen now!

Was in Boston today so I stopped by Newbury Comics.

Mastodon - Crack The Skye

King Crimson - Starless and Bible Black

Dead Can Dance - Toward The Within (never listened to them before but I heard the name. The CD was only $4 so I bought it.)

Van der Graaf Generator - Time Vaults

I love them all except Islands. I listened to it once and was bored. I'm going to give it a chance since I didn't care for Lizard at first and now its one of my favorites.
