I haven't listened to Back In Black in forever, listening now and I'm just amazed at how incredible it is. Has every right to be considered one of the greatest rock and roll albums of all time. And I can definitely see the comparisons with metal if you put this next to, say, British Steel.

If I were to ever get in a rock band, the first thing we would do is learn this whole album by heart and learn to lock in this well. If a band can do that, anything else they try will sound infinitely more awesome.

If anyone is interested, here's a video of my favourite AC/DC tribute band.

I go see these guys play live as often as possible.

Great show and really nice bunch of guys.

An old clip of Bon where he mentions Rush, KISS and UFO.

Just ignore the dickhead interviewer Molly Meldrum.

Bon "tell me the bass players name from Kiss"...

Interviewer {mumbling} " I don't know".

Oh man... I saw the photos, and was not ready to feel this emotional. The fact that Brian and Phil were there - and even former bass player Mark Evans - show how impactful Mal's death was.

I'm revisiting all AC/DC albums since last week, in no particular order.

“He was famous for rhythm but infamous for boating skills,” Mr Horsburgh said to much laughter before detailing mishaps including the sinking of a sailboat and a yacht which caught on fire.

“We could almost blame him personally for rising sea levels caused by too many anchors lost at sea.”

:laughing guy:

:rose: Malcolm. Thank you for posting this. It sounds like a lovely and most appropriate service, with the boating stories and the Scots pipers playing Long Way to the Top. I agree with everyone, the photos are really moving. Hard to see Angus without Malcolm near him. :rose:
