Big Hero 6

Best non-Pixar Disney since Hunchback. Loved it ridiculous amounts!

Bad acting? Check. Stupid plot that makes no sense? Check. Terrible CGI? Check. Unintentional comedy? Check. But...somehow it still managed to be strangely entertaining.

The former another one of those pathetic Asylum ripoffs? Besides, Roger Corman beat them to it when it was called Carnosaur. I'll never forget when Gene Siskel gave it thumbs up and Ebert called it the worst of 93.

Ironically, it was the other way around that year for Cop and a Half.

I remember when this was on TV as a kid (I would have been 8). I wasn't a KISS fan, so I didn't watch it, but it was the talk of the playground the next day at school.

The movie is just ridicubonkers. It was produced by Hanna Barbera, which explains the Scooby Doo episode plotline. I loved it, but that's just because I often love bad/cheesy movies AND rock band movies, so it was a perfect blend for me.

"You're looking for someone...but it's not KISS"

The boy in the stripped pajamas.

made me cry

It did the same to me, too

I'm hoping that "stripped" is a typo...

All the action takes place in a prison and we somehow get some college girls in the same cell as a rapist/serial killer, they all just happened to be there. The CGI dinosaurs just stopped by for lunch. The producers of this must have some compromising pictures of Ray Wise, which can be the only reason he was in it.

Have you got all of them?

Yep...I saw all of them way back in the day, and decided to watch everything again in sequence. I saw Parts I and II a few weeks back, Part III last week, and IV and V during the weekend. Part V sucked, but Part IV was great, especially the ending with Corey Feldman fooling Jason and killing him. Part I and II are equally good, and Part III is when Jason got his hockey mask. I watched half of Part VI this morning and it´s quite well done, but to be honest they should have stopped at Part IV. The one with the psych (Part VII) and the one in NY (Part VIII) were a waste of time, and all the others are a joke.

Please tell me part 6 isn't the "joke." That's the best one just for how influential it was towards movies like Scream and Urban Legend and it's self aware humor. Part 5 is bad in a "so bad it's good" way. I agree on Manhattan though. That's the worst but that head punched off scene was awesome, though.

Got to admit, that head bit was a classic.

After re-watching the Karate Kid trilogy, I just had to watch "Karate Kid with Guitars" too. I love this movie, and not just because of Steve Vai.

Seriously though, has Ralph Macchio ever starred in a movie that doesn't involve him being taught by an old guy, and end with him taking part in a contest with a nasty hotshot?

Eugene's Trick Bag is basically the guitar playing equivalent of the Crane Kick

Serial Mom

Could have been a lot better, this was still okay. But not funny, tense or remotely gripping.
