This has been a great day for Rush! Can't wait to hear how this turns out. Still, they need to release a full Time Machine show!

Well, they are releasing the whole show, but only on DVD, Blu-ray, and CD (the vinyl is the Moving Pictures section only). Sorry if you meant they should release the whole show on vinyl; that would be cool, but would it take up three records? Wow ohmy.gif

I'm glad I got my turntable working. Now I'm hoping and praying the theatrical release'll be screened in Syracuse...might be dicey. And boyfriend will be getting a visit for the VH1 special next Wednesday yes.gif

So, eventually we will be left with:

Full Cleveland show on DVD/BlueRay

Full Cleveland show on CD

Extra stuff on the DVD/BlueRay

MP on vinyl - is this live from the tour?

Cleveland show in select movie theaters

that's a whole lot of stuff going on. ohmy.gif

I would love a Time Machine show on vinyl. I can't think of anything better to have in my collection (except all my sealed Duran Duran records). I hope they screen the concert somewhere near me. If they could bring BTLS close to me, I'm sure the concert will be here too.

I will buy the vinyl for MP live.

Blue Ray Time Machine

And I will go see the big screen HD Time Machine show for sure.

Yeah....I love them. And they love my $$$ LOL.

If I like the versions of the MP songs enough, I might get the LP.
Is it going to be on 180 gram?

For now, it's the DVD and the CD.

Waiting for CA.

Most, if not all, vinyl pressings are (by my experience) 180 gram for audio fidelity. I'm sure the band is going to make sure that these live releases have great audio and dynamic range. But we won't know for sure until samples are released.

Man, I don't have a turntable. Rush are such a bunch of sell-outs for this.

Please enlighten us. What would make Rush not a sell out?

If they "sold" everything (tickets, t-shirts, CDs etc) at cost

Rush, like every other band, "sold out" the day they started making a profit.

Sell out I say !

new_thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif What are you, a commie? Maybe if you ask nicely enough the band will come over to your house and play a free concert for you. If you don't think they should be making any money for what they do then don't give them any. Give me a friggin' break and catch a clue

Too subtle for some I guess. I'm all FOR them "selling out", I thought that was pretty clear. Well, maybe to most.

The whole "selling out" argument is ridiculous.
