Two large sirloin beef patties, two slices of sharp cheddar cheese, three strips of bacon, caramelized onions, a bit of lettuce (not shredded), two or three pickles, chipotle mayonnaise.

Stop it. You're making my mouth water.

Don't forget that I later included ham! burger2.gif

I prefer ground chuck for my burgers. Sirloin is too lean and too often leads to a dry, mealy burger.

We recently discovered this. Hubby got a meat grinder attachment for our Kitchen-Aide stand mixer and decided to make his own hamburger. It was dry because we used too lean of a cut. Next time we'll know better.

On my ground steak burger I like mustard, mayo, ketchup, tomato, lettuce, pickle. Sometimes some sauteed mushrooms or caramelized onions. Maybe a bit of avocado. And bacon, of course.

Dammit. Now I want a hamburger!! angry.gif

Homemade:

ground beef

Garlic powder

Season salt

Pepper

Minced Onions

Parsley

BBQ sauce

mix all together and make patties. Tastes best if let sit for a few hours before cooking for flavors to marinate.

Best burgers ever, hands-down. The beef's all that matters, everything else can be whatever brand.

I swear on my life I would eat that and be happy.

I'm counting about 17 beef patties in there, and a rough estimate of 1 lb of cheese.

I love meat, and cheese, but am not entirely sure I could finish all of that in one sitting.

Maybe if I left the bun off. . .

I wouldn't do it in a sitting but over the course of a day. I counted 9 patties but I think some of them can be separated into smaller ones which would be the 17 you counted. If there was nine, I once ate 4 patties of about that size with no problem, no buns on the last one though, and the first was a double cheeseburger.
