Good, bad, andrush
QUOTE (An Enemy Without @ Apr 28 2011, 05:03 PM) QUOTE (Good @ bad, andrush,Apr 25 2011, 12:25 PM) Two large sirloin beef patties, two slices of sharp cheddar cheese, three strips of bacon, caramelized onions, a bit of lettuce (not shredded), two or three pickles, chipotle mayonnaise. Stop it. You're making my mouth water. Don't forget that I later included ham!

HowItIs
QUOTE (Lost In Xanadu @ Apr 25 2011, 10:45 AM) I prefer ground chuck for my burgers. Sirloin is too lean and too often leads to a dry, mealy burger. We recently discovered this. Hubby got a meat grinder attachment for our Kitchen-Aide stand mixer and decided to make his own hamburger. It was dry because we used too lean of a cut. Next time we'll know better. On my ground steak burger I like mustard, mayo, ketchup, tomato, lettuce, pickle. Sometimes some sauteed mushrooms or caramelized onions. Maybe a bit of avocado. And bacon, of course. Dammit. Now I want a hamburger!! Edited June 9, 2011 by HowItIs

Digital Man
Homemade: ground beef Garlic powder Season salt Pepper Minced Onions Parsley BBQ sauce mix all together and make patties. Tastes best if let sit for a few hours before cooking for flavors to marinate. Fast Food: In-N-Out
go2wrk@95974
Great topic! Nothin like a burger and flies! ..not to mention alittle liquid cola to get ya energized..and in motion!! Growing up in So Cal, ( home town: "Surf City") legendized by the Beach Boys song , "Surfin' safari" , Theres always been a variety of places to get a burger-fix. 2 of my fast-food favorites are In-and out and Carls jr. Carls has got lots of good ones, The six-dollar burger one of them..really tasty. You can get the plain one or others like the mushroom, jalapeno or teriyaki, amoung others. You can get a combo for about 7 bucks which includes large crisp-cut fries and a large drink..its a steal of a deal, imo. ((They also give out killer coupons, so you can get an even better deal! )) Check it out,if your ever in so. Cal. ..and btw, these are the RUSH gigs I've seen: ((I wish there had been more, but because of financial and other reasons, there weren't.)) Moving Pictures Tour-1981 San Diego Sports Arena-San Diego, Ca. Signals Tour-1983 San Diego Sports Arena-San Diego, Ca. Power Windows Tour-1986 Irvine Amp. Irvine, Ca. (2 nites in a row! It was freakin AWESOME!!!! My ears were ringin' , and I felt competely O.D.ed.. but..It was worth every da*n dime!!) I'm counting about 17 beef patties in there, and a rough estimate of 1 lb of cheese. I love meat, and cheese, but am not entirely sure I could finish all of that in one sitting. Maybe if I left the bun off. . .

I counted 9 patties but I think some of them can be separated into smaller ones which would be the 17 you counted. If there was nine, I once ate 4 patties of about that size with no problem, no buns on the last one though, and the first was a double cheeseburger.
