King Crimson ProjeKct, A Scarcity Of Miracles is the debut release from (Jakko) Jackszyk, (Robert) Fripp, and (Mel) Collins.

Featuring a dream rhythm section comprising Gavin Harrison and Tony Levin, ASOM is a sonically rich and detailed collection of surprisingly accessible and heartfelt songs which boasts a seductive, widescreen production.

Echoing elements of King Crimson's unique vocabulary, while presenting a unified group sound far removed from anything previously released under the KC name, A Scarcity Of Miracles manages to be both intimate and epic, complex yet immediate.

Honouring a great band's legacy, whilst undoubtedly taking it somewhere new, ASOM is the Crimson related album your wife and ballad loving friend might just fall in love with!

'One of my favourite albums of those where I am a determining element. It has the Crimson gene, but it is not quite KC.' - Robert Fripp

The album comes as a standard cd, a heavyweight 200gm gatefold vinyl edition and in a deluxe cd / dvda version (which features a 5.1 mix, 24/96 stereo, the ASOM video, and an album's worth of alternate mixes and improvs from the original sessions).

Not quite the real KC but that's close enough to make me happy!

Damn! More like Robert Nasal Dripp.

Sucks getting old. I'm going to pass on this album.

By the way who does all of their artwork?

The dude must be making some good money!

Glad Fripp can still play the guitar in his old age.

Signed,

Les Prog Paul

Getting old sure beats the alternative.

I'll check this one out. Very curious especially with the return of Mel Collins to the Crim fold. I can't believe you're going to pass on this one Earl.

Yeah fripp is getting a bit old, but I'm sur he can still play. We're talking about a guy

who practices 25 hours a day.... What's the worse that can happend, him sitting down in

concerts!?

He looks much better than his Yes counterpart!

By the way earl the dude who paints their artwork is a actually a dudess! She's an english painter

called PJ Crook.

And I can't wait for that album.

I clicked on Robert and I was rather pleasantly surprised.

I clicked on Robert and was wondering what was with the Kenny G feel of the song. It sounds amazing. Harrison really does fit in KC; definitely matches Bruford in some aspects.

YIKES! One cool classic (and completely out of place) Robert Fripp guitar solo couldn't save that adult contemporary crapfest. eh.gif

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little. 062802puke_prv.gif

You're right, at least he doesn't look like good ol' skeletor...
