Girlfriend and I woke up near Zion National Park, and hiked Angel's Landing by 11:00am--sharing the beauty with very few people on what is usually a terribly crowded destination. Afterwards, continued on to Las Vegas and had a great buffet dinner that was anything but turkey and stuffing! :D The sun was in our eyes, but I like the photograph anyway! http://i.imgur.com/ukvXtUQ.png Sounds like a great Thanksgiving to me! It must have been fun hanging out with them! And I should have known about Alan Shearer, record goal scorer for Newcastle. My husband is an avid follower of Newcastle (and we have the zebra attire and Premiere League TV subscription to prove it, lol.). My husband did one of those DNA things and also does genealogy and had some relative from near Newcastle (the rest are from tree duck's town, lol) so Mike went all in on following them.
