LOL! I hated Jar Jar and I hated the end of III. "Frankenstein's daughter all curled up on me!" Uh oh, more Y&T lyrics. I hated Vader in III. I'd rather watch "Young Frankenstein" by Mel Brooks than that shit. A young Grand Moff Tarkin in the background with no script. Epic Failure Be With You! Lucas needs to get off the billionaire couch and redeem himself. Also Hasbro must be pissed too. The Star Wars toys on the shelves of Target and Toys R Us are empty. Automatic win! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/JackAubrey/OMG.jpg Carrie Fisher catches some rays with her stunt double during the filming of Return of the Jedi. Nice "money shot" Dave. Have you ever seen the big budget porno called "Space Nuts" with the great Stormy Daniels? Classic stuff. This scene should have been in the movie. I'm surprised Lucas didn't sue. QUOTE Have you ever seen the big budget porno called "Space Nuts" with the great Stormy Daniels? I'm afraid I missed that one. My movie collection is extensive, but it's not that extensive. That's one genre I stay away from.

Jake Lloyd who played young Anakin - unforgivably bad acting 2. The women who played Anakin's mother - more unforgivably bad acting 3. Jar-Jar Binks 4. Overly-complex hard to follow who cares plot regarding the Trade Federation, etc. 5. Often very wooden and/or goofy dialogue (did he ACTUALLY say "Are you brain dead?" Yes, he did.) 6. The pod racing scene - great special effects, but goes on forever and is just a little too goofy. I thought Episode 2 and 3 were vast improvements, even though there was still some horrendous dialogue. And also the performances that all seemed so stiff and overly serious - that wasn't really the actors' faults but the writing and directing. There was just very little down to earth relatability to the characters and their dialogues. Luke, Han and Leia had that in spades - where did it go? He looks at pretty much everything except for what he's supposed to be looking at in the scene, especially when he speaks to Jar-Jar. I suppose that's the drawback of having too much CGI, if it's just you in a giant green room then you're not going to be sure what to look at either! danielmclark
Oh good lord, yes. The most blatant example I can think of is the scene where they first meet Jar Jar and Qui-Gon is introducing him. Ewan's eyeline is ever so slightly off, but it's bugged me every time I've watched that scene.

Mandalorian Hunter
Soni nailed it. III, I, II in that order. I'm still mystified how a bunch of adults found the Trade Federation storyline complicated!

danielmclark
I hate to say this because I usually bitch-slap anyone who says it to me, but it's especially true here... if you read the novelizations, a lot of things make more sense. It's not that there are extra scenes that explain everything away, but you get an insight into what the characters think and feel that isn't apparent on the screen. You also don't suffer from visual overload - the Obi-Wan/Anakin chase scene through the city is far easier to follow on the page, for example. I know, it's a cop out... the films shouldn't need novelizations to make sense, they should have been better to begin with. But there it is.
