theworkingman
Pop and Zoorapa are both much better than their last two albums although I don't think How to Dismantle is as bad as everyone says.

If you must spend money why not spend it on bands that are still trying to make good music and/or need your money?

Spindrift82
I thought How To Dismantle was pretty good. It's not an instant grabber, but it has a lot of great songs. QUOTE Pop was a horrible U2 album. Zooropa not much better. I hope the new album is a good one. Pop was uneven, but Zooropa was one of the best albums of their career. It was creative, daring, and had a great flow with no filler or bad songs. I've never been able to understand the hate for Zooropa.

Jaye
I saw some music magazine today featuring U2. Bono had some kind of black eye makeup on, looked really stupid. I had a flick through the mag, and on every page of the U2 section, was a picture of just Bono. I usually get music magazines featuring my favourite bands, but I gave up buying mags for U2 a few years ago. I'll still buy the album as I still like U2's music, but Bono quite annoys me nowadays. (yeah, me and countless others, right? )
