The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou tongue.gif Although I don't think it's all that bad.

Yeah, that one's a screwball. I liked it better after a couple of viewings.

Bambi vs. Godzilla.

A classic epic.

Oh, and I loved Xanadu, too...I even have it on tape, but not for that sappy storyline, but the TUNES!!!

I actually laughed through most of Ishtar when I saw it back in the day. The fact that it was Hoffman and Beatty...with the horrible dialogue and equaly bad song lyrics...it struck me as funny. I know I'm in very small company on this one.

A lot of people think Dumb and Dumber and Kingpin are bad movies. I think they're brillantly funny.

I could watch either of those over and over again.

The Stoned Age - it's kinda like Dazed And Confused on about 10% of the budget

OMG, I loved that movie too! z7shysterical.gif

And has anyone ever seen The Spirit of '76? Yet another one of those crappy retro 70's type movies from the 90's, but I loved it...

I would be surprised if anyone saw this.

Excerpts

There's nothing more scary than a monster truck trying to run you down. laugh.gif

Have you seen Duel? 1971 movie with Dennis Weaver, trying to keep from getting ran down by some ancient semi.

Duel is awesome. Spielberg's first studio film I think.

It was just on...and I watched it again. So simple, but brilliantly done.

Actually, Duel is a television movie. The Sugarland Express was Speilberg's first theatrical release.

Right. By studio, I meant not a student film. You can see a lot of Duel in Jaws. trink39.gif

Strange Brew. Really stupid, but also really funny, when you're not in the mood to think. Edited by Marathonist
