I had my first taste of Johnny Walker Gold tonight. Sipped from a brandy snifter, it was smooth, rich and warm tasting. Not quite as much bite as Black, but I liked it a lot. Also had a Saranac IPA and Pale Ale, and thought they tasted lousy. That was the first and last time for that brewery's beer.

Friggin' Budweiser. Yeah, skanky old Bud. When will I ever learn that this stuff is just nasty and always has been?!

I had my first Sierra Nevada Pale Ale last night! I really liked it, in spite of CERTAIN people's dire predictions that it would be too bitter for me. wink.gif
