closer2heart Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 This thread is for my fellow Rush brothers and sisters who know you can love both Rush and God!!!! I thank God for giving me the gift of compassion....sometimes it hurts but the rewards are greater. But most of all I thank him for giving me my son so I could understand the word JOY. The Beatitudes Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are the meek, for they shall possess the earth. Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for justice, for they shall be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the clean of heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God. Blessed are they who suffer persecution for justice' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when men reproach you, and persecute you, and speaking falsely, say all manner of evil against you, for My sake.

liquidcrystalcompass Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail. Something I should pay closer attention..........
joanneeeeee Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Thank God for God! As the Kenster says Great idea Sis! Always, always grateful to Him for LOVE
thesweetscience Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 The Serenity Prayer God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen. --Reinhold Niebuhr

closer2heart Posted January 11, 2008 Author Posted January 11, 2008 it's all good, if it dies it dies!!! "Sing it with me this is 40" I waited patiently for the Lord. He inclined and heard my cry. He brought me up out of the pit Out of the miry clay. I will sing, sing a new song. I will sing, sing a new song. How long to sing this song? How long to sing this song? How long, how long, how long How long to sing this song? You set my feet upon a rock And made my footsteps firm. Many will see, many will see and hear. I will sing, sing a new song. I will sing, sing a new song I will sing, sing a new song. I will sing, sing a new song How long to sing this song? How long to sing this song? How long to sing this song? How long to sing this song? Bono......
