I need to down some Jack Daniels as a respectful toast to Indians play by play announcer Harry Doyle.  RIP, Bob.

"Juuuust a bit outside." Uecker improvised that line (among others) and it became a household phrase. RIP to a baseball treasure.

The Buffalo Bills fans have probably used it more than they'd care to admit.

We used to buy these like $6.00 tickets to Pirate games, before MLB got so crazy.  They were always in the nosebleed section, but we always had fun using Uecker's line- "Must be in the front row!"  Learned today that he actually hit a home run off Sandy Koufax back in the day and is in Cooperstown for broadcasting the Brewers.  RIP, Bob, you will really be missed.

Remy was a dirtbag father who got the mother of his granddaughter killed right in front of her. And then afterward had the gall to fight for custody of her over the maternal grandparents. He doesn’t deserve to be mentioned with Uecker. I sincerely hope he is roasting in hell right now.

First I've heard of it, but Google uncovered a lot of it for me. Jesus, what a trainwreck.
