I can never tell if Jordan Schlansky is doing a bit. But evidently he's a huuuuge Rush nerd.

This is very funny.

YES, release the full Toronto show!!  That's the most interesting piece of information there.  Man, I would love to see that whole thing.

I have no idea who Jordan Schlansky is, but the guy obviously knows his stuff, those are some hardcore questions.

He's been Conan O'Brien's assistant producer for almost 30 years. They turned him into an actual character over the decades: excessively picky, fastidious, only wanting the best in everything, obsessed with Italy. One of their best bits was when Conan dressed him up in a tuxedo and made him eat at Olive Garden.

You'd think whoever did that video could have timed it to 21:12 instead of a mere 1-2 seconds away from that since they knew Geddy was going to be on. That's some real shit planning right there but it was entertaining.

That was GREAT!  I didn't know this guy did podcasts. Way funnier than he ever was on TV. I have one of those Dutch pressings but I think I still prefer the original Anthem pressing if we're talking vinyl but I'm sure the guy has a much better setup than mine. Geddy was great too.

This is one of the best crossovers ever. On a side note, Geddy's such a cutie pie in this interview.

Reminds me of this bit:

In speaking of the Simpsons, I really hope that someday soon they have Geddy or Alex, or the both of them either guest star as themselves or as characters.

Jordan and Conan are one of my favourite duos...there is a ton of great stuff on youtube when he was a producer on the tv show.  It was a real treat to see Geddy dropped into that mix.

Six hundred thousand dollars?

I assume that's a joke, I don't watch Conan but is that a typical exaggeration in his style of podcasting?

And I really enjoyed hearing all the other bits about Jordan's knowledge of the band. We got an advanced hint of "there is a show in 1997 in Toronto...that we have yet to release..."

What is this dutch pressing he is talking about?  Where can I find this digital rip?

Likely this one: https://www.discogs.com/release/9036292-Rush-Moving-Pictures

Haven't heard it myself, but I'm not sure what could beat the RL pressings, they're pretty fantastic.

edit: Apparently this one was mastered by Bob as well.  Meh, I'm happy with my Canadian pressings.
