Nova Carmina Posted March 28, 2023 Share Posted March 28, 2023 It's the first Led Zep album I ever bought, after reading Stephen Davis's Hammer of the Gods on a whim. I found the cassette in the remaindered bin (remember the little notches they used to cut into the plastic housing?) at Music Land; I think it was $2.99. I've loved "The Ocean" straightaway; "The Song Remains the Same" and "Over the Hills and Far Away" grew on me and are now some of my favorites. I'll confess I've never much enjoyed "No Quarter" -- and certainly not the twenty-five minute versions of it they'd eventually trot out on tour.
