50 years ago tonight I saw The Who at The Spectrum in Philly.  Reliving that evening by streaming the show.

We slept out at the box office in October to get floor seats.

WHAT AN EVENING !!!

Peter Gabriel-I/O

I'm very glad pete got an album out finally and i think it's really good.  Heard both mixes but for the life of me they sound the same:laugh2:

i heard the album three times and it doesn't touch classic Peter but it's still like a warm hug to hear his voice again.

will this have that much re-play value.  in the end me personally.  i think i'll wind up sticking to the first 4 but it was so cool to hear his voice again.

Pearl Jam- Lost Dogs

An album of b-sides and rarities. A tonne of great songs here.

Pearl Jam- Pearl Jam

Masterpiece. This is currently my favourite PJ album that is not Ten. I love the range of emotions, the sense of purpose the band has and the songs are uniformly excellent. The 2017 remix blows the 2006 release out the water, its elevated this record for me massively.

Pearl Jam- Lightning Bolt

Brilliant again. Sirens is one of the most beautiful songs in the bands discography.

Pearl Jam- No Code

Honestly I think Pearl Jam had three outstanding albums in a row opening their career. But I think No Code and Yield are superior to Vitalogy. My gosh I just love these two albums. I don't really like the "grunge" label. Personally I don't think any of the big bands of the genre belong in one category.

I don't compare Pearl Jam to the likes of Soundgarden or Alice In Chains. Why? Well for a start, I do love PJ way more. But also, I don't think it makes sense to compare them, they all sound nothing alike.

As for Nirvana, I'd compare them to Pixies, REM and Husker Du before any of these bands.

Taylor Swift- 1989 (Taylor's Version)

Okay I love this entire album start to finish way more than I ever did the original.

Taylor Swift- Midnights

Hadn't played this in a while. Smart move, I had tired of it. Now I love it all over again. No skips.

Taylor Swift- Reputation

Probably my number one album of the 2010s.
