Tom Hanks seems a little old to play Elvis

Reminds me of this quote from my favorite MST3K episode, Mitchell.

Joe Don Baker would be perfect for Elvis, the dying days. - Crow T Robot

Watched that a lot in junior high when it came out on video.

Speaking of movies from my youth, I saw this in theaters as a kid and I have to say this is soooo much of a dated late 80s Yuppie era product.  Post Kokomo Beach Boys in animated opening credits just seals it.

Gotta love Patrick McGoohan!

He was pretty messed up in this! He learned to play drums especially for this film and he was really good, or made to look really convincing, or a bit of both.

Yesterday while the Super Coupe was getting some mods I hit the theater, damn good time and perfect way to kill a couple of hours.
