zepphead
The two Randy Rhoads albums are miles better than anything else Ozzy did as a solo artist, and in my view the first album is by a long way the better of the two.Looking back now at when the albums were released, Randy Rhoads had a far bigger impact on me as a guitarist than EVH ever did (although, no doubt that will not be a popular opinion with many on this forum).
Rick N. Backer
This one is so tough. I have to go with Blizzard though. Neither album has any clunkers, but Blizzard just has too many iconic tracks.
Stormtron
I'm cool with either one of these winning, but I do prefer Diary. Over the Mountain, the title track, and the unfortunately named S.A.T.O. are my three favorite Ozzy songs.
goose
This one is so tough. I have to go with Blizzard though. Me too, although Over The Mountain, Flying High Again and You Can't Kill Rock and Roll would be my choice for best Ozzy three-song run.

Turbine Freight
I went with Blizzard FTW but won't complain if Diary breaks the tape.
Rick N. Backer
I went with Blizzard FTW but won't complain if Diary breaks the tape. Me either. The first time I saw Ozzy was on the Diary tour. It was not long after Randy died. Bernie Torme filled in on guitar, and when he came out my friends and I thought it was Randy he looked so much like him (to us). We thought maybe the stories he had died were a hoax. The white Strat should have been the giveaway, but we were around 14. Anyways, Diary wasn't much off the pace of Blizzard. It just doesn't quite hit the peaks.

I won`t give you grief with this; Randy Rhoads had the speed but an improved sense of melody.
RUSHHEAD666
"Diary" was the first OZZY record I listened to in my young life when it came out. My friend had it on lp. We blasted it three times. I was in love. Both of these are Global, Universal Masterpieces. Going with the second record.
TexMike
As great as Blizzard is, it was an easy dismissal. Diary is a desert island disc AFAIC.
