My immediate thoughts...

Bob Marley & the Wailers : Three Little Birds

The Beach Boys: Good Vibrations

Bob Dylan: The Times They Are a-Changin’

Great thoughts! Wouldn't know where to start with Bob M or the Beach Boys, so many ups...

IMHO you can’t really go wrong with anything from Bob Marley & the Wailers. I don’t have all of his stuff (maybe 70%) yet but I have heard it all through a past flatmate.

These days “Exodus” is his best for me but like Rush, my favorite occasionally changes.

Senses Working Overtime-XTC

Slippery People- Talking Heads

The Spirit of Radio-Rush

Oh for sure. The Songs of Freedom box is amazing. I was tempted to be a completist years later with all the albums but stopped there.

Of the many pick-me-up songs I could choose, the one that really works for me is...XTC -- We're All Light

Apple Venus Vols I&II was my go-to music in 2000/2001. I remember driving on a beautiful summer day blasting it thinking that it is the perfect music for a care-free summer day. I still think that and We're All Light has always been my particular favorite.

Funny, in a nearby conference room an AV guy was setting things up this morning, playing The Call's "When the Walls Came Down" at a surprisingly loud volume (not that I minded). That was a good pick me up.

Whisky In The Jar - Thin Lizzy

everything about it breathes Irish atmosphere and attitude, and I adore the emerald isle (and I shall return at the start of next school year with the marching band!)
