Mick You and I need to talk, Mick! I've been into music since before The Beatles hit the U.S. JUST before, but the first song I remember hearing on the radio was "The Lion Sleeps Toninght" as performed by The Tokens in the fall of 1961, when I was 31/2 and my sister was 21 and baby sitting me. The big AM Pop station in the Detroit Area was CKLW, in Windsor. Canada. The first Beatles song I remember was "I should Have Known Better" wich came out in June of '64. I remember that song because I was at a friend from school's house and he knew how to draw a naked lady and that was the '45' he was playing when I visited his house... WOW! Sexy women and MUSIC! lol

Mick I have a bunch of Musicals also....My first one was "Mary Poppins" from the Disney movie and my second was the Disney "Jungle Book" Strangley enough my Third one was the soundtrack to "Magical Mystery Tour" by The Beatles, and then "Yellow Submarine" by the same band...My musical tastes run from Classical, all the way to New age, like Philip Glass and others...I have Horrible Pop "The Shags" and such to country, even rap with horrible lyrics etc, but I even got into Speed Metal and "cookie Monster vocals, etc. Female performers and groups, I LOVE enya and Loreena McKennit, not to mention Sarah McLachlan, Melissa Etheridge, The British Pop chick Suzanne Vega. I have ABBA's greatest hits...John Denver's best...I am BEYND LOVE for Jack Nitzsche's score for that movie, it's my quintessential "RELAX", the end song when the alien leaves earth...Any thing you'd like to ask me or that type of thing just give me a thread or PM....
