Best harmonica player in all of pop culture. Anyone better must still be obscure, underground, and local. Check out howard levy. He is as good as popper imo. Of course i am far from a expert on harmonicas. Check out the early bela fleck and the flecktones records. Bela is pretty much the king of banjo. The bass player is another great. The master, victor wooten.

Rick N. Backer
Van Halen - The Full Bug Blues Traveler - But Anyway I have a feeling we´ll have even more Blues Travelers tunes here...John Popper is indeed amazing!!! I only wish they crossed the border and played here. Liked for one of my favorite Roth era VH tunes.

I've heard this song I don't know how many times and never noticed a harmonica. The harmonica comes in at about the :10 mark and plays the main theme - it's subtle .... But on this longer version, we also get a harmonica break at the 5:36 mark

Narps
21 train train by blackfoot. When I saw this thread this was actually the first song that popped into my head oddly. I remember seeing them open for Ted Nugent around 1980ish and being shocked at how good they were...
