Self-Indulgence
The new album is strong. I like the different stylings from song to song.I would think they would play the first two songs from the album when they go on tour again. My favorite choice would be The Alchemist.

Tony R
I’ve recently listened to the new album. It’s fricking excruciating. What a surprise, you hate somethingDid I write “hate”? I’d ask you to give me 5 synonyms for “excruciating” but you’d probably give me 10.

Turbine Freight
The new album is awesome. I was worried that they would spread themselves thin over fourteen tracks, but most of the songs are quite good.I was surprised just how good it was ..... and it stands up to repeated listens. And how!

Self-Indulgence
Stalk Forrest Group ,This is probably the first publicity shot of the band that would become Blue Oyster Cult.

I saw them in like '82 and they closed with "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place" by The Animals. Somewhere in the back of my foggy memory I think I remember them playing Born To Be Wild in the 70s or 80s too.
Self-Indulgence
^^ They covered The Animals when I saw them in '78. There's a cover on their first live album and ET live has Robbie K. sitting in on Roadhouse Blues.

Relayer2112
Saw them open for rush. Lucky...two of my favorite bands. I believe Rush had opened for BOC several times in the late 70's. That has to be awkward when the opening act becomes the headliner and vice-versa.
chemistry1973
I though Rush were deone opening for bands by AFTK. Edited December 2, 2020 by chemistry1973
zepphead
I though Rush were deone opening for bands by AFTK.They never opened for bands again after the AFTK tour but certainly supported BOC on 12th - 14th January 1978. I believe they also opened for Bob Seger for 3 nights in December 1977. Edited December 2, 2020 by zepphead
Self-Indulgence
^^ I believe the Hemisphere's Tour was the first time they headlined sports arenas in the U.S.A.
