Entre_Perpetuo
So, some of my favorite musical memories come from music that becomes part of my "soundtrack to summer" as I associate a lot of my favorite trips and camps and experiences with these fun, upbeat pop rock songs, among some other kinds of songs. So here's my question to you: Do you like to associate music with your summertime experiences and memories, and if so, what are some examples of this in your life, and what kind of music generally makes you think of summer?

EagleMoon
Maybe when I was a kid and listened to the radio a lot. Now the music I listen to is of my own choosing, so I don't really associate it with a season. That being said, I remember hearing a lot of Carole King and The Eagles during the summertime when I was a kid.

Since I mentioned 88, I remember that one when it came out. Can't forget Poundcake from Summer 91 either. Speaking of 1991, Summertime by DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince is a classic.

Anything by Van Halen, including Hagar era. Many of the bands popular in the early-to-mid-80s, like Duran Duran, The Fixx, and The Outfield. I used to frequent a water park in Vegas during my teen years and this kind of thing was often the soundtrack.
